Business Orange Awards – JA Schiller Building

The team from JA Schiller Building are thrilled to announce that the company won the 2026 Business Orange Award from Excellence in Manufacturing, Trade and Industry at a lavish gala dinner held at Banksia Orange in September.

Michele and James Schiller accepted the award on the evening from Newmont representative Brigid Keary.

“Thank you Business Orange, to the judges, and to the sponsors for this award,” Michele said. “I think back to when James was living onsite in a caravan and bringing me home a XXXX Gold box filled with receipts to punch into our accounts system. To be where we are today, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built. And that’s with the help of Tom and the boys on site, building the homes of the future.”

Michele added, “Congratulations to all in the people in this room running a small business, and to all the nominees in this category. It’s tough out there at the moment and I’m proud of everyone for getting up and getting it done.”
